Welcome to the 11th Annual Gaia Gathering for Women:
The theme of this year’s Gaia Gathering is “Witnessing Transformation.” When we take the time to truly see each other and the existing paradigms of the world around us we are better able to be catalysts for the change and transformation necessary to shift not only ourselves but the patterns that do not serve in this world. We see this in the microcosm of ourselves and the macrocosm of the shadows coming to light in our communities. When we give that gift of true and authentic witnessing, we allow the building of more collectively beneficial relationships in sharing our ideas, our work, our wisdom, and our deep hearted selves. This in turn helps us nurture those beneficial relationships, with the healing plants, our creative nature, our family, our community, and beyond.
For women, gathering and putting our hearts together to empower each other and create sustainable relationships with ourselves and our community is vitally important – now more than ever. We, as microcosmic expressions of our Mother Earth, require tending, nurturing and nourishment in much the same way we would care for our communities, the land or a beloved garden. When we tend ourselves and continue the sacred change women in circle create, we take the steps towards healing the Earth, reweaving the torn fabric of Earth’s cloak that has sheltered us all so willingly from the beginning of our time.
This year we are honored to feature renowned musician, activist and educator Amikaeyla Gaston as our keynote speaker.
Sponsored in part by The Elderberry and Commonwealth Seed Growers.
